Nabih Elias Azzam & Partners (NEA) is a Chartered and Regulated Quantity Surveying practice founded in 1982 with offices worldwide. It is a family business with more than 40 years experience, worked on over 1500 local and international contracts worth over 10 Billion USD combined, across a broad range of clients and sectors. It is a leading consultancy firm recognized for the quality of service and vast experience and knowledge in the construction industry. Currently we are looking to hire a permanent and full time based Associate Director (QS / CM) to join our Operations team in our Dubai – UAE Office, which has around 60 employees. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects in various sectors, and take the lead in ensuring project success from the beginning through to completion.

The applying candidate must:

• Have a minimum of 25 years of professional experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or any equivalent Educational Degree                                                 
• Have MRICS Qualification or equivalent.
• Be proficient in English.

• Be vigilant with numbers and be attentive with project data and benchmark data.

Duties and responsibilities are as outlined below:

• Management and support of Quantity Surveying team, both pre contract and post contract.
• Interaction and Liaison with clients through all work stages from project inception through to final account conclusion.
• Development of Quantity Surveying Systems and Codes of Practice.
• Quality Control.
• Resource Management and development.

• Oversight and direct participation in:

• Project cost estimation
• Procurement documentation, including advice and interaction with clients re conditions of contract , procurement packaging and payment preambles
• Tender awards
• Construction period administration service
• Finalisation of Accounts
• Dispute Resolution
